Step 2: Navigate to the google reviews widget

Once logged in, access the catalog and search for the Google Reviews widget. ElfSite provides several widget formats to display your reviews, including an innovative AI-generated summary of your Google reviews.

Choosing Your Widget Format:

For the purpose of this guide, we recommend selecting the carousel widget. It’s an engaging way to showcase your reviews, allowing visitors to scroll through feedback. Click “Continue with this template” to customize it further.

Step 3: Customize Your Widget

Business Name: Enter your business name to fetch your Google reviews.
Style Customization: Tailor the widget’s appearance to match your website’s color scheme. Whether you prefer a darker tone or something more vibrant, ElfSite allows for complete color customization. Simply input your hex code under “Accent Colors” to align the widget’s appearance with your site’s aesthetic.
Font Selection: By default, the widget adopts your website’s font. However, ElfSite gives you the flexibility to choose a different font if desired.

Step 4: Publish and Embed the Widget

After customizing the widget to your liking, click “Publish.” For those building a website, the free version of the widget suffices. Copy the provided code snippet.

Embedding the Widget on Squarespace:

Ensure your Squarespace site has a blank section where you want to add the widget. If necessary, add a new section.

Insert a code block into this section and paste the copied code snippet from ElfSite.
Adjust the block to full size for optimal display and save your changes.
